ARTIST STATEMENT - A breath of Fresh Air
My photographs are a representation of both the beach and nature. I chose to takE photos of waves to express a change in motion. Nature has always been something that I have loved. My close up nature images symbolise a feeling of tranquillity.
The inspiration for my body of work came from Craig Parry, who is a local beach photographer. As a collective, my body of work is a representation of the local area. These images as a whole showcase how relaxing life can be if you take a minute to breathe.
