Subject selection guidelines for Year 10 students progressing into Year 11 and 12

• All information is explained in the Handbook for Senior Courses, which has been provided to each student
• Subjects that students are selecting will set you up for what you wish to achieve as part of your future.
• Students are encouraged to aim for the pattern of studies that you may need as you move forward if you are unsure.
• Pick the subjects that you enjoy doing. If you excel in the subjects you like, you will do well in your overall results. As opposed to selecting subjects based on what you believe could give you the best ATAR.
• We have a range of subjects for all students.
• All students in Year 11 must complete 12 subjects.
• Interviews for subject selection discussion conducted with head teachers and careers advisor. In these interviews students will be provided guidance and assistance to ensure they are meeting requirements for their pattern of study.
