ARTIST STATEMENT 

My photography is a representation of childhood. The chaotic element in my pictures reflects the life I had growing up. My focal point with this series is movement, something that I’m very familiar with growing up and still do, having separated parents from a young age. Growing up on an island, the beach was always my safe place away from home, it has brought me immense comfort even to this day.
